On Banking Day, students from participating elementary schools learn the basics of banking and get a head start on their financial literacy. Once a week, BMFCU collects each student’s deposits and takes them to the credit union to deposit into their accounts. Banking Day participants receive an official banking bag to bring in their deposits each week.
Parents can also assist their child’s financial literacy at home. Every Banking Day participant will receive a registry to record their transactions and access to FREE Online Banking so they can watch their savings grow!!!
